Check Point CPX 2024: Immersive VR Experience

For CPX 2024, Check Point's flagship global conference, VRG delivered a fully interactive, narrative-driven VR experience deployed across Bangkok, Vienna, and Las Vegas—from concept to live operation in just four weeks.

The brief was ambitious: create a short but memorable VR experience that communicates real cybersecurity concepts, works reliably on the show floor, and scales across three continents. We designed, built, shipped, and operated the entire experience end-to-end.

The Experience

Players step into the role of a cybersecurity contractor investigating a silent Mars-orbiting research station. Guided by a cautious onboard AI, they navigate an escape-room-style adventure combining puzzles, environmental storytelling, voice interaction, and timed decision-making.

The experience blends sci-fi tension with real-world security themes:

AI trust and safety
Insider threats
Malware, encryption, and system compromise
Incident investigation under pressure

Progress and outcomes are scored based on accuracy, speed, and completeness, with results stored on a live leaderboard. At the end, players submit their email to receive their score, turning the experience into both an educational and lead-generation tool.

The Reality

This wasn't a lab prototype. It ran live, all day, for thousands of attendees—across multiple time zones, hardware setups, and venues. We handled logistics, calibration, troubleshooting, and staff handover to ensure a smooth show experience at every location.
